HOOD COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) - The parents of a one-month-old baby girl are in jail, accused of trying to sell her for three thousand dollars.

According to court documents, 24-year-old Heather Wall, the mother of the child, called her uncle, Donald Ford, to ask if he wanted the infant.

Wall told her uncle if he wanted the baby, identified as “Tess,” he would only need to fill in his name on the blank birth certificate, give her a name and send it in to the state.

Ford reported the attempted sale of the child to police.

Both Wall and Bonneville were arrested and face third degree felony charges for the Sell or Purchase of A Child.

The baby was found safe in the couple’s apartment in Mabank, Texas.
