PARKER COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – Water rescues began at 2 p.m. Saturday for a 10-year-old boy who fell into the Brazos River while fishing with friends and was swept away.
The search involves emergency workers from Parker and Hood counties.
Multiple boats are being used in the water.
Parker County Rescue, Texas Game Wardens, Hood County Rescue Crews, volunteer fire departments from the area, and the Brazos River Authority are all on the scene.
Officials have suspended the search for the missing 10-year-old. The search will resume at daybreak Sunday.
