HOOD COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – Hood County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested and charged a 21-year-old man with making terroristic threats against a school.
Tyler Paul Pierce was at the Sheriff’s Office requesting open records on Thursday. During his interaction with an employee, deputies say Pierce stated that he would “go to a school and cut up children” if his CPS hearing didn’t go his way.
Pierce left the building but was located and arrested at the Justice Center by deputies.
He has been charged with Terroristic Threat Alarming a Government Agency, a felony, and is being held on $250,000 bond.
“We will not tolerate any type of threat made against our kids or community. You will go to Jail,” said Sheriff Roger Deeds.
Grandbury ISD administrators have been notified and are taking stetps to protect the campuses.
