The hospital says so far this week, it has treated ten children who had to be rescued from the water.

They don’t want a repeat of last summer when the hospital treated 55 children who nearly drowned.
Four youngsters died.
The sheriff says in Thursday’s incident, the child was at the pool with a babysitter.
The Hood County District Attorney’s office Crimes Against Children’s Task Force is now investigating the near-drowning, a standard procedure in the county.
Cook Children’s has some tips to keep your child safe in the water:
Get in the pool, stream or lake with your children.
Be a water watcher – closely watch them.
If you’re at a pool-party, adults can take turns watching the kids.
Use life jackets when possible.
You can also enroll your children in water safety classes. Several groups offer them free of charge to those in need.
Learn CPR.
